Empowering Communities
INDONESIA'S FINEST COMMODITIES,
My wife and I began our journey together in 2001 with a simple mission: to bring the finest spices, such as vanilla, clove, turmeric, and white pepper, from the farmers of West Java to the world.
By 2011, we expanded our offerings to include essential oils like patchouli, nutmeg, and lemongrass. This marked a turning point for our business, as we began building a broader network of producers.
Today, from our base in Bandung, we proudly source high-quality commodities from across Indonesia—East Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and even Papua.
In 2014, we took another exciting step by establishing our own distillation process for essential oils, ensuring greater quality control and a deeper connection to the products we offer.

At Asta Nusa Warna, our commitment to empowering rural communities is unwavering. In Garut, a region renowned for its agricultural heritage, we partner with local women who meticulously sort, process, and perfect each commodity.

Our community partners are skilled artisans in their own right, bringing generations of knowledge to the careful processing of spices and essential oils. These remarkable women, often the backbone of their families, gain more than employment—they find dignity, purpose, and pride in their contributions.
We are deeply humbled that our business has become a source of hope and opportunity, sparking meaningful development throughout the region. Every vanilla pod, every drop of essential oil, tells a story of resilience, collaboration, and shared prosperity—a tribute to the enduring spirit of these communities.
